Connecting with Phase2 enables an organisation to offer pro-active third party assistance to individuals, developing their skills and experience to a level which satisfies their personal ambitions. Skill transition is a complicated process of heightened creativity, rejuvenation, broader horizons, new contacts and increased knowledge.
Individuals may be attracted to join Phase2 when they are facing a situation where their skills are:
- Under utilised within current corporate developments
- Redundant due to market developments and/or technological progress
- Out dated in comparison to skills available on the general market.

In addition, individuals may be attracted to join Phase2 to minimise the likelihood of the above scenarios occurring. Membership of Phase2 is restricted to individuals who have been ‘sponsored’ by their employer (or ex-employer). Corporate’s can become a ‘Sponsor’ of Phase2 (National, European or International) and pass the benefits of membership onto employees on a selected or optional basis. Individuals are able to maintain their link with Phase2 after their initial sponsor has ceased involvement.
Phase 2 has inbuilt flexibility to accommodate national legislation or work practice variations.
